Ooh - this looks fun

When my baby boy finally comes, I'm sure I will be swimming in photos and videos of this new little man! One of my fave bloggers, MckMama, is giving away one of those HP TouchSmart computers that would be oh so fun to use when I'm playing with photos and videos of the new babe. Check it out here....it looks dreamy. And maybe they'll choose my name as a winner. At least this is one sweepstakes/contest that I can enter.:)

Seth's Dedication
It was a special Father's Day for Jason and Seth. First, it was Jason's first Father's Day and second, Seth was dedicated to the Lord. Seth had the privilege of being dedicated to the Lord by Pastor Rick during our church service. Baby and child dedications are so special at our church. I have always enjoyed watching the babies being held by the Pastor and watching their reaction as he prays for him.
And now it was our son's turn. Seth did very well up on stage. He looked around and when Pastor Rick held him, Seth wanted to touch his face.
First, Pastor Rick explained the importance of dedicating to teach our child about God and share His love with them so that one day, Seth will hopefully make a decision to follow God and become a Christian. Pastor Rick asks the congregation to repeat outloud their commitment to sharing Jesus with Seth.Oh, I have been praying for the day that Seth makes a personal decision to follow Jesus since he was just a thought in our mind.

Not all hiccups are annoying
(Originally posted 12/7/09) Our sweet little baby has entertained me for months now with his little hiccups in utero. Based on the way he's been positioned in my stomach, I typically see my pregnant belly hop on the lower left side to the beat of his hiccups. He usually does this at least two times a day - it's so cute!
Jason laughs at me because whenever we're together and little Couni starts to hiccup, I always get excited and point out the little hiccup hops on my tummy. They're always the same, but I never get tired of marveling how he can hiccup inside of me.
He's hiccuping right now. Could this be his last set of hiccups in utero? I will miss the feeling of his hiccups, but I cannot wait to make a big smiling deal of our baby's hiccups when I'm holding him!
